Welcome to Erik Empowers, operated by Step Up Empowerment, LLC ("Erik Empowers," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Services are here to protect both you and me so we can focus on transformation, growth, and living empowered.

By using this website, booking coaching, attending programs, or purchasing products, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Erik Empowers

Erik Empowers provides fitness coaching, mindset and self-development coaching, educational content, digital products, workshops, and retreats designed to help individuals grow physically, mentally, and personally.

You must be at least 18 years old to participate unless you have written parental consent.

2. Not Medical or Mental Health Advice

All content and coaching are for educational and motivational purposes only.

• We are not providing medical, psychological, or nutritional treatment.
• Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting exercise, diet, or lifestyle changes.
• Results vary based on individual effort, consistency, and health conditions.

By participating, you accept full responsibility for your choices and actions.

3. Fitness & Activity Risk Disclaimer

Exercise and physical activity carry inherent risks.

By participating in Erik Empowers workouts, programs, or retreats, you:
• Confirm you are physically able to participate
• Accept risk of injury or illness
• Release Step Up Empowerment, LLC and Erik Bauer from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law

Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort and seek medical advice.

4. Coaching Relationship

Coaching is a partnership focused on growth and accountability. It is not therapy, legal advice, or financial advising.

We cannot guarantee specific outcomes, income, weight loss, or life results. Your success depends on your commitment and actions.

5. Payments & Refund Policy

All payments are processed securely through our payment providers.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:
• 1:1 coaching sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule
• Missed sessions are non-refundable
• Digital products and downloadable materials are non-refundable
• Group programs and retreats are non-refundable after the start date unless required by law

If Erik Empowers cancels a session or program, you will receive a reschedule or refund option.

Giving Back. As part of our mission to empower confidence and community, a portion of Erik Empowers profits supports LGBTQ youth through The Trevor Project and survivors of abuse through the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

6. Retreats & Events

For retreats or live events:
• You are responsible for travel, insurance, and personal expenses unless stated otherwise
• We are not responsible for travel delays, cancellations, or personal losses
• Additional waivers may be required before participation

7. Intellectual Property

All Erik Empowers materials—including the 4E Cycle framework, videos, programs, PDFs, branding, and website content—are the property of Step Up Empowerment, LLC.

You may not:
• Copy, sell, or redistribute materials
• Record sessions without permission
• Use content for commercial purposes without written consent

You may share links and testimonials with credit to Erik Empowers.

8. Community Guidelines

We are building a respectful, inclusive community aligned with growth and empowerment.

We may remove participants without refund for:
• Harassment or hate speech
• Disruptive behavior
• Sharing other members’ private information
• Misuse of program content

9. Privacy

Your information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We will never sell your personal data to advertisers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Erik Empowers and Step Up Empowerment, LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of our services or website.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as Erik Empowers grows. Updates will be posted here with a new date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.

13. Dispute Resolution

If a disagreement arises, we agree to first try to resolve it respectfully through good‑faith discussion. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled through mediation or arbitration in Florida before pursuing court action, unless prohibited by law.
